Sometimes you have to look at the long-term rather than just the short term.

20 seconds spent enjoying a doughnut vs having higher levels of fitness and an impressive physique for the foreseeable future.

      Not gonna choose the doughnut.

Yea you're maybe right... I only started eating healthy a few months ago. Before I could eat anything I want and it didn't really affect my physique. But now I just started eating healthy and to be honest I don't miss the chocolate/soda/ **** at all. I do still eat fried stuff and pizza now and then though. You're not gonna die if you just eat it once a week or something.

Aside from that; there are many people that enjoyed more of their short 30year lasting life than alot of people have that turn 90. If you're dead you're dead, you have no time to regret it.
I can understand if having great physique makes you happier than eating good tasting unhealthy food though. But I don't alot of people are fooling themselves.

I concur but my in shape weight is is 155 pounds and I fight at 147 so in the run up to a fight I increase my training and certain foods have to go.

I use to eat whateva i wanted every day up until yesterday when I switched to a more experienced and educated trainer with a good background and connections to more pros.

He's getting me ready for the sunshine state Games coming up...

So he said though I could eat what I wanted and make weight he wants me to start eating right to see where my weight falls too... I'm gonna do it I'll probably get down to about 160 I'm thinking.

Because i have milkshakes (So great vanilla mixed with strawberry) and frosty's/floats(SOOO Ga-HOOD AT NIGHt B4 BED lol) from wendy's like 3-4 times the week and eat out .. mostly pizza and fried chicken... whenever i feel like it for lunch...

                I'm excited.

As for those who say "i'm never not training". Me too - i train 5 days a week, run as well on those 5.

But i'll not watch my weight if I haven't got a fight in weeks before hand. So i'll have a few beers, fast food, chocolate. As soon as the boss goes "you've got a fight at the end of the month". I cut it all out and then the next time something tasty is eaten, will be the moment after the bout.

I think i miss booze the most when training, then probably things like chinese takeaway.
