Don't sweat it. It's always someone wanting to put Americas dirty laundry in the closet. The "Uncle Tom" stigma is part and parcel of a lot of black males trying to pull themselves up. Most of the name calling comes from other American blacks, not British boxing fans.

What a ****** thread. No. Hes not a ****ing Uncle Tom, and not only that, i love how people from the UK preach about how US fighters talk a bunch of ****, while their fighters tend to be "gentleman" like and all that ****, and you get one american who doesnt run his mouth and is polite and now hes a ****in uncle tom.

What you think were all a bunch of moronic negroes spouting off at the mouth and if a fighter doesnt meet that criteria then hes not doing a service to his race? Knee Jerk reaction or not, its a ****** concept, a ****** thread, and really says something about the user who made it.

Yeah, not necessarily you, brother. (I thought he'd win on points, but not every single round).

America needs more of the Jermain Taylors. He is a guy with a good head over his shoulders. He has a daughter which will make him even nicer. Leave the man alone, alot of these new generation black folk are brought up with hatred and anger.

Nah, it says a lot about the intelligence of people replying to it. This is the fun of a thread like this, because it reveals so much about the narrow view of those posters.

Look at how in only your second sentence, you bring "UK" into it. Did I mention the UK anywhere in this thread? No, I did not. Relevance: nil. Oh, I forgot... people outside of the US aren't allowed to have an opinion on boxing, right?

I am also a born and raised Southerner, but have lived in rural PA for the last year. I will return to NC in Jan. This town is all caucasion. No blacks or latinos. The only time I hear any racist remarks is when I go back to NC!
