Comments Thread For: De La Hoya: Cotto-Canelo Very Close, MGM Very Possible

The most anticipated fight for the second half of 2015 is a clash between Miguel Cotto and Saul Alvarez, which is slated to happen most likely on either November 7th or the 21st. It would be another chapter in the heated rivalry between Mexico and Puerto Rico.

"We're close, we're very close,''said the head of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya. "It's a matter of crossing the t's and dotting the i's. We have a lot of people interested and we obviously want to go to the venue that makes the most sense for both fighters. It's a bit tricky when you're doing a co-promotion but both parties want to maximize the dollar but at the same time we want to make sure that both fighters are comfortable where they're fighting."

Y'all know who house it is. King Floyd will probably let y'all use it for a small fee lol he already beat both those scrubs anyway. Canelo couldn't even beat the Grandpa version of Floyd lol loser

"King kunta everybody want to cut the legs off him"

You would think he wouldn't need a catchweight to beat Canelo which puts his victory with an asterisk.....like Floyd said after he beat Cotto "Cotto's loss to Margarito doesn't count because he cheated (no proof) and his loss Pac didn't count either because it was a catchweight fight so I beat an undefeated Cotto" OK Floyd if you say so your victory over Canelo doesn't count either. I'm just siding with Floyd on this!!!

            Cotto may get robbed

Everyone knows that las vegas is bias and it will favor canelo, cotto will have to literally k.o canelo to win, if floyd beat canelo and they tried to rob him imagine what they will do to cotto.

Only Golovkin can drop Canelo. Canelo has a strong chin. Canelo will KO Cotto in round 7.
