British star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is fresh from his twelve round decision victory over Chris Algieri from last Friday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Khan is angling to secure the fight he's been chasing for the last two years, a fall showdown with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs).

Mayweather is planning to return on September 12th, and claims that ring appearance will the final fight of his pro career. Khan has already made it clear, on national television, that his schedule has no roadblocks to face Mayweather in September.

It's become even more clear that Amir CON has gotten to the point, in boxing, where he does not care about his legacy, he does not care about his fans, and he doesn't care if he gets knocked out...He just wants the money...He will take the money and run off into the sunset. Yes, PLEASE...Fight Cotto so he can save us the agony of you begging for additional "Big Names". I have no doubt that him fighting Cotto will end in quite possibly a Paul Williams-esque knockout

Got to admire Khan's bravery The kid will fight anyone and he means it. I think a Cotto fight at catch weight would be winnable for Khan. Canelo at 154 however would be a different story.
