      Now why would a Puerto Rican, who's the new mw champion of the world, a bigger name, a known commodity over the past decade fight on a Mexican holiday and not on one that his people celebrate? One that he's successfully put butts in the seats and wins in the column? Why would a Puerto Rican have to succumb to a younger challenger who doesn't have the credentials he has?

        Because that fight makes more money on Cinco de Mayo weekend than it does PR parade weekend.
