Comments Thread For: Kell Brook Not Worried About a Robbery in Porter Fight

Undefeated welterweight contender Kell Brook (32-0, 22KOs) is less than two weeks away from his big shot, a mandatory crack at IBF champion Shawn Porter (24-0-1, 15KOs) on August 16th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

While Brook admits that he's thought about the possibility of a robbery if the contest reaches the scorecards, he's not overly concerned. Brook's promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, is not worried either - because he expects his fighter to win by knockout in the second half of the contest.

Really thinking Brook will win by KO? What are they smoking? Brook is not really fast and Porter will pick him apart. I cant see this fight going 6 rounds.

I think brook should win this, yeah he had a tough fight against jones the first time but most good fighters have a tough fight early in theyre career and it can help them...........

Since when does Porter get the Canelo treatment? Kell Brook needs to settle down and stop trying to imply excuses already.

I will be surprised if Brook even makes it too the 12th round on his feet. Porter has reached his peak, Brook is just meh.

They shouldn't rob him. The commission benefits much more if he comes back to the U.S. to fight regularly.

He won't fight in the US regularly though.

he's more worried about remaining conscious, which is smart.
