I wonder how long it is going to take for that wound to heal . It looked like Navarette had been hit with a hachet. That was a really nasty cut. I got hit in the forehead with a brick and it wasn't nearly as bad as Navarettes cut. The mistake by Jack Reiss makes sense , it's not a conspiracy or screw up like some people are trying to make it out to be. The way that it happened and the angles involved , it's easy to believe that the head caused the cut. It's not often that a punch cuts someone like that, especially not on the forehead. A cheek or eye socket would make a lot more sense being made by a punch.

The only fair result? How is it remotely fair to give Suarez a no contest and a rematch when we all know he won the fight? Do the right thing and give the kid the win he earned.

Good, though Suarez should've been ruled winner. I heard Arum is considering doing the rematch & a card in Manila for the 50th anniversary of “Thrilla in Manila”

Suarez should make his first title defence next time when he comes out fighting

I was rooting for Navarette but that should had been a loss, not a no contest.

It's crazy. The article literally says " It was the only fair result" (paraphrase) since he would've won if it had been called correctly.

Therefore, the only fair result is to give him the win. Obvious.

              Who's running this circus?

everyone is going to remember it as a win after a while, it will not change anything this junk ......... decision to tell the truth and all that excess garbage about Jackass Reach carries no weight at all.
The way a fight often happens when an underdog wins it involves him rising up above his potential, going beyound his natural abilities, train perfect prepare and excicute precisely and have every thing fall in line that night...... and they say no contest because someone dont feel good about changing a mistake into the truth ? Get outta here man..........
Next they will say "rematch" like it makes it all better BoBo..... it makes more money for Boxing that is all.......It changes the original mistake not one bit.

You do know Suarez landed a punch that caused the cut on Navarrete that stopped the fight, right? So it’s not a gift to Suarez.

Top rank couldn’t find the replay and as soon as Navarrete was announced the winner, oh here’s the replay that shows the punch that caused it, not a head butt.
