Comments Thread For: Does Manny Pacquaio have one more shocker left in store?
If there?s one thing Manny Pacquiao has proven he can deliver, it?s the element of surprise. Will he be capable once more when challenging Mario Barrios Jnr?

i watched the aynpo exhibition and he was terrible. that guy anpo isnt that good he was getting slapped around by sean strickland, not just mauled but outboxed, hes a kickboxer not a boxer and manny was getting outboxed out worked because manny's timing is gone and he constantly resets now looks for one big punch, his style is no more because he is shot, its like Tyson in his last fights, he was just looking for one shot and didnt have it anymore to fight in the style that made him champ.
So Jake Paul can make a mockery out of boxing but a lifetime badass legendary fighter can't fight when he's this age makes zero sense let the guy fight.

He should be fighting exhibitions if he wants a pay day like Floyd, not getting a title shot.
It'll only shock the ones that doubt his greatness. As for me, I can't wait till July 25th!
We all saw how Barrios face looked after fighting way out of prime Abel Ramos. Just think how it's going to look after he fights the one and only 8 division legend

Ugas got a split against Ramos. Could've also gone either way.
Doesn't mean anything.
Ramos is just really tough.
The only real surprise is that Barrios dropped Ugas twice, which Spence and Porter couldn't even pull off (not even a single knockdown)
Manny and his fanbase are just running on pure nostalgia fuel.
I don't know man. One of the first videos I saw on social media when Manny linked back up with Roach and they were in the ring together doing some work, Roach threw a slap at Manny and it landed clean. They laughed it off, but that was concerning. A 65 year old was able to land clean on a 46 yr old Manny. That's not a good sign of what's to come. Not to mention, Manny's face showed more swelling than ever in his last fights and those were like 5 years ago. I don't know how well it's going to hold up against a younger fight who will bring the pressure.
I feel like the Barrios fight will mimic the Margarito fight a bit. Manny, as young as he was in that fight and as much damage as he put on Margarito, it was not an easy fight either. The size difference was massive and Manny had to use his legs like crazy to stay away from the ropes and not let Margarito just pound on him. When Margarito got in a body shot in rd. 6 or 7, it nearly doubled Manny over. That fight was like a decade ago. There is no way that same Manny exists together to perform the same way.
I'm a fan of Pacquiao, have been his entire career, but I'm also not going to ignore reality and physics, lol.
