Sounds like an overblown story from a media desperate for more drama. Fighter poaching is something that goes on all the time in boxing with trainers and promoters. Roach admitted a couple of months ago that he thought Hatton should've come to him instead of Mayweather for training. If Hatton loses decisiviely on Saturday then you might see some shakeups on his team but if he wins or loses a close one then this will be another non-story.
However for someone as loose and cool as Hatton is, it is kind of odd that he'd make such a big deal of Floyd's punctuality.
"It was a problem that could be addressed and taken care of without being in the media.
"It didn't need to be in the media and we straightened it out.
"I'm a no-nonsense trainer. I saw a situation but I addressed it.

"We have a very clear understanding. I respect them and I want them to do the same with me. Nobody is jerking me around."
Mayweather's direct style is in sharp contrast to Hatton's relationship with former trainer Billy Graham.
But he insists the Hitman has required a firm approach to help eliminate his bad habits. Hatton's lack of head movement has been in Mayweather's sights and he even used his sparring pads to bash home the message.
The 56-year-old added: "I don't play games. If you leave your head there I'm going to take it off."I said to Ricky, 'You need to move your head, man, you want to be able to see your kids. You don't want to be hit in the head, that's your brain in there. When you get hit in the head your brain rattles'.
"I don't want him to get hit upside the head and I want him to use the jab more as an offensive and a defensive weapon."
EXCUSES SET ALREADY???
This is sad,Floyd's ego knows no bounds. He need to know how to treat people ,remember Chad Dawson had same problems.
The taking the head off bit is funny though, considering Hatton used to get hit so much you can imagine what happened in training.
