    Faster hands, Tyson or Ali?

These two are widely considered to have the fastest hands in HW history.

Well, who had the faster hands?

Muhammad Ali vs Brian London - Ali had the fastest hands

Keep in mind the range Ali's hands had to travel when thinking about this.

      Ali clearly.

It's hard to chose one. I would say Ali had faster straight shots but Tyson had faster hooks & uppercuts. Ali's speed at range with single shots is something I've yet to see a heavyweight beat. Neither have I seen a HW with faster/more explosive punches on the inside than Tyson.

          Tyson for me.

Much quicker. Easily the quickest pair of hands I've ever seen for a heavyweight. That includes Patterson and Ali.

Tyson had some of the fastest hands ever, P4P.

Ali's hands (in the 1960's) were much faster than Tyson or Patterson. I honestly can't even see the comparison.

Yeah I agree that overall Ali's hands were the fastest I've seen on a HW. And top 5 fastest literally.

BUT Tyson was extremely quick at putting his up and down combos together, and hooking to different levels off the same hand, also bringing the uppercut up.

He's just a touch off Ali.

He's the most devastating puncher Ive ever seen though.

This is one for a digital stopwatch, not people's worthless opinions on a subject which can be settled analytically. I only care about a stopwatch in track, and care noting for peoples' opinions on who can run faster. I have an opinion, yes. But this can be settled with measurement, so my opinion is worthless as well. So are the opinions of people who fought or trained them. All opinions are worthless when you have a stopwatch, aren't they?.
