    Good list but I'm surprised at all the Bert Sugar ones being on there, I honestly can't read a word that man writes.

      Have you or anyone read 'The fearless Harry Greb' By Bill Paxton? I was thinking about purcashing it.

        Im reading it now. Im not far into it but it doesn't seem to be the page turner I expected. Im also currently reading "Joe Gans" by Coleen Ay**** and Mark Scott, and that one is excellent.

              Ahhhh, that's suprising.

              Could you keep me posted on whether it get anys better? I want to purchase it but its currentyl ?5 and don't want to purchase it if it's not very good.

                Quite a list.

                Some of these books are much into specific fighters. The book that got me interested in boxing history was Harry Carpenter's pictorial history of boxing. I still cherish the book.
