Fighters who didnt know how good they were?

Great fighters with huge amounts of talent, who didnt take enough chances? not knowing just how good they were.

    Roy Jones
    Jack Johnson
    Floyd Mayweather
Jack Dempsey (more jacks managment than the man himself)
    Joe Calzaghe
All the fighters above come to mind when talking about this topic

I think Buster Douglas could fall into this category. He had great talent and potential but just couldn't capitalize.

I don't know about Johnson, his whole style was to take you as many rounds as possible until you were worn out, then stop you. Uniquely suited to that era. If he had taken more chances he would have had more losses.

Joe Bugner and Chris Eubank both had another gear that was rarely used..
