which boxer had the most raw power

from what i have seen its between george foreman and julian jackson. these guys iced people with the poorest of punching form. i have seen raw novices using better technique than what these often used to get ko's.

some will say what about hearns and tyson.

if you watch thomas hearns and mike tyson, they always punch with perfect form and leverage

That I've seen the most of, Foreman, although historically I know there have been some others who may have been more devastatin. Dude didn't need gr8 hand speed or even clean contact to knock your ass silly.

Rocky Marciano..... Everything short for a heavyweight. Even in actual weight, reaching the minimum. By far he packs more destruction in a single punch than any mentioned before this post. Highest KO % in history of boxing.

When Marciano was destroying all challengers with his blockbuster assault, the U.S. Testing Co. was asked to measure the power of Rocky's wallop. Its findings:
"Marciano's knockout blow packs more explosive energy than an armour-piercing bullet and represents as much energy as would be required to spot lift 1000 pounds one foot off the ground." Boxing Illustrated December 1963

Shavers of course, foreman and liston, although liston was a better boxer and not as wild as foreman. Foreman was just wild as soon as the bell rang, liston boxed and once he knew you were hurt he kinda went a little wild.
