Junior welterweight Nahir Albright won a majority decision over previously unbeaten Kelvin Davis in the co-main event of a Top Rank card Saturday from the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.
Davis and Albright both connected on 35 percent of their power shots, but Albright landed 54 more power punches, and his punches hurt Davis on several occasions. Albright averaged 11 punches landed per round while Davis averaged 7. One judge scored the fight a 95-95 draw, while the other two judges scored it 97-93 and 96-94- both for Albright.
