The promising French junior middleweight Bakary Samake will fight Argentina’s Lucas Bastida of Argentina in a rematch at the Marcel Cerdan Palais des Sports in Levallois Perret, Paris, France on October 25.
Samake, 18-0 (10KOs), defeated the 28-year-old Bastida, 22-4-1 (13KOs), via unanimous decision when they fought over 10 rounds in 2023.
Bastida rebuilt via three successive victories, before being stopped by Russia’s Pavel Sosulin in nine in April.
The 21-year-old Samake, also in April, stopped South Africa’s Roarke Knapp in eight in front of a reported crowd in the region of 40,000 in a fight that formed part of a concert headlined by the French rapper Gazo.
