German heavyweight Albon Pervizaj returns to action after almost two years out on Saturday, June 21 at Gold's Gym in Berlin, Germany. The opponent for Pervizaj is Ilja Mezencev, 25-4 (21 KOs), who in his last fight was stopped against Moses Itauma.

Pervizaj, a good amateur with a pro record of 18-1 (13 KOs), turned pro back in 2017 with Sauerland Event and went 12-0 but then lost to Dusan Veletic. After that, Pervizaj was fighting more or less as a freelancer before taking a long break from boxing in 2023.

In March of this year it was announced he had signed with Fides Sports, headed by Burim Sylejmani, a company based in Ferizaj, Republic of Kosovo, but with strong ties to Germany.

In the co-feature Croatian heavyweight Petar Milas (17-1) is having his third fight since losing to Frenchman Tony Yoka back in 2019 but holds wins over the likes of Kevin "Kingpin" Johnson and Francesco Pianeta. Milas will fight an opponent to be announced.
