Heavyweight contender Otto Wallin believes Tyson Fury received every benefit, because of his star power, to continue fighting for the entire twelve rounds on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In the third round of their contest, Fury suffered a severe cut above his right eye - after getting tagged by a solid left from Wallin. The cut grew worse as the contest continued, with Fury being unable to see for the majority of the contest. He even suffered a second cut, although not as bad, on his eyelid.

The doctors would occasional check on Fury's injuries, but he was allowed to continue.

He was rattled by a hook in the twelfth and final round. But in the end, Fury banked more than enough points to win a unanimous decision on the cards.

Wallin believes if the shoe was on the other foot - or if it was another heavyweight in the ring that night - the fight would have been stopped.

"If it was someone else, they probably would have stopped it," Wallin said to TMZ Sports.

According to Wallin, he used dirty tactics in retaliation to the tactics being used by Fury.

"He was using dirty tactics too and I'm not gonna let someone do that to me, without me answering back with some dirty tactics," Wallin said.

"This is boxing. It's a fight and you gotta do everything you can to win."

Wallin is hoping to get another big opportunity - like the winner of the February 2020 rematch between Fury and WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

"After that, maybe I could get the winner. That would be great, fight for the world title," Wallin said.

"I wanna say it was a good fight. Thank you for the opportunity and I hope we can do it again."
