The junior middleweight Vito Mielnicki Jr is to fight Daniel Buciuc of Romania over 10 rounds at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York on September 27.

They will meet on the undercard of the WBO welterweight title fight, overseen by Top Rank, between the champion Sandy Ryan and her challenger Mikaela Mayer. Another junior-middleweight fight, Puerto Rico’s Xander Zayas versus the Mexican Damian Sosa, had already been confirmed for the undercard – as had the featherweight fight between Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington and Sulaiman Segawa. 

There will also be an eight-round junior-welterweight fight between Tiger Johnson and Yomar Alamo, another Puerto Rican, and further junior-welterweight contests, over 10 rounds, between Rohan Polanco of the Dominican Republic and Argentina’s Marcelino Lopez, and another Dominican in Elvis Rodriguez, against the Mexican-American Kendo Castaneda.

Floyd “Cashflow” Diaz fights his fellow bantamweight Mario Hernandez over eight rounds, and at heavyweight Ali Feliz will fight Rashad Coulter over six.
