French heavyweight Tony Yoka (11-0) is as of today (May 2) is the official challenger for the vacant EBU heavyweight title with German Agit Kabayel (21-0 boxrec / 23-2 all in all) in the other corner. The EBU has set the deadline for purse offers on May 16 at noon.
Yoka must of course first get past Martin Bakole - a fight that takes place May 14 in Paris.
The Olympic Gold Medalist of 2016 in Rio thus replaced former WBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck, who for a long time was co-challenger along with Kabayel and SES had an agreement about promoting the fight but now Huck has pulled out with a claimed injury.

The EBU have ordered an immediate rematch between newly crowned super lightweight champ Enoch Poulsen (12-0) and Franck Petitjean (23-6-3). and are calling for purse bids with a deadline of May 23.
Poulsen beat Petitjean on April 21 in Copenhagen but it was not without controversy and the biggest question mark occurred in the second round when the Dane turned his back to action, sat down, his cornermen entered the ring and put his dislocated shoulder in place. It all happened fast, so fast that the referee let it pass but it was a mistake and Petitjean should in accordance with the EBU rules have been declared the winner by TKO.

While Marco Huck the fighter is out of the title fight against Agit Kabayel, Marco Huck Promotions is back in action and stages a show in Dieburg/Darmstadt with unbeaten cruiserweight Tahir Kahrovic a/k/a Tommy Punch (18-0) headlining.
