Over at the H Arena in Nantes, France, 2016 Olympic gold medal winner Tony Yoka (7-0, 6 KOs) returned to the ring, and the dangerous heavyweight prospect stopped Michael Wallisch (20-3, 13 KOs) in the third round.

Yoka sent Wallisch down in the third. The German veteran managed to get back to his feet, but it wasn't long before he hit the deck again and the contest was waved off.

Over in Stadthalle in Magdeburg, Germany, heavyweight contender Tom Schwarz (26-1, 18 KOs) continued to rebuild after his June demolition at the hands of Tyson Fury, as he broke down and stopped Ilja Mezencev (20-2, 17 KOs) in six rounds to capture the IBF International title.

Also on the card, light heavyweight Adam Deines (18-1-1, 9 KOs) stopped Yevgenii Makhteienko (10-13, 8 KOs) in two rounds.

And heavyweight prospect Peter Kadiru (5-0, 1 KO) dominated Andrei Mazanik (13-11, 10 KOs) over six rounds to pick up a unanimous decision win.

At the Eagles Community Arena in Newcastle, England, world rated flyweight Andrew Selby (13-1, 7 KOs) picked up what many felt was a controversial eight round decision over Fadhili Majiha (24-14-4, 11 KOs).

In a bout where the referee handed down the sole score of 76-74 for Selby, the British boxer had struggles in the bout and went down in the first and sixth rounds.

Super bantamweight contender Thomas Patrick Ward, (28-0, 4 KOs) continued his march for a world title as he decisioned Yesner Talavera (15-11-1, 4 KOs) over ten rounds, to earn the sole score of 100-90.
