A battle of unbeaten fighters will top the latest Most Valuable Promotions card.
BoxingScene has learned that the organisation’s latest promotion will come on April 26 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, where Yoenis Tellez (7-0, 6 KOs) fights Joseph Jackson (19-0, 15 KOs) for the WBA Latin America Continental Championship.
The co-feature will involve Benigno Aguilar (11-0-1, 4 KOs) fighting Alexander Rios (8-1, 3 KOs) in a rematch of their thrilling previous fight.
Tellez is a 23-year-old prospect located in Stafford, Texas by way of Santiago, Cuba. The boxing community first got acquainted with him on the undercard of Terence Crawford-Errol Spence Jr.
The Ronnie Shields-trained fighter stopped Sergio Garcia via third-round knockout. He then recorded a 10th-round highlight-reel knockout of Livan Navarro in December, also on an MVP card.
Jackson is a 35-year-old challenger hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina. He is riding a three-fight knockout streak.
Also scheduled is a six-round battle between featherweights Jan Paul Rivera (8-0, 5 KOs) and David Perez (9-0, 2 KOs).
