krikya360.com has been advised that Austin Trout's management has offered Anthony Mundine a fight date of December 31 on Showtime. The network is planning a major New Year's Eve card, which may include a middleweight unification between champions Daniel Geale and Dmitry Pirog. Showtime expressed interest in having Trout (23-0, 13KOs) face Mundine (43-4, 25KOs) on the card. A few days ago Mundine won a twelve round decision over Rigoberto Alvarez to become the mandatory challenger to Trout's WBA "regular" junior middleweight title.

Trout is already scheduled to defend his title against Frank LoPorto on Showtime on November 11.
