Tickets for Ricky Burns’ WBA World Super-Lightweight title defence against mandatory challenger Kiryl Relikh at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow on Friday October 7 will go on sale to Matchroom Fight Pass members at midday tomorrow (September 1).
Burns became a three-weight World champion in stunning fashion in the same arena in May, clinically dispatching Michele Di Rocco to add the vacant strap to World titles he secured at Super-Featherweight and Lightweight.
Relikh provides a stern test for Burns and the dangerous unbeaten Belarussian, who boasts a daunting record of 19 KOs from 21 fights, has plenty of World title experience in his corner in the form of his trainer and Manchester fighting hero Ricky Hatton.
A stacked undercard will support Burns’ clash with Relikh, with Scotty Cardle defending his British Lightweight title against Kevin Hooper, Commonwealth Games gold medal favourite Charlie Flynn tackling Manchester’s Kofi Yates, outings for Flynn’s Commonwealth Games teammate Joe Ham and Brixton’s Heavyweight star Dillian Whyte, plus more to be added.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday September 1 at midday Matchroom Fight Pass members via the following link: with tickets priced at £40, £60 and £100, with VIP tickets priced at £200.
Tickets go on general sale at midday on Friday September 2, with tickets in the £40-£100 bracket available from the SSE Hydro website and on 0844 395 4000 and 0800 952 0110 (accessible). VIP tickets at £200 are exclusively available at
