UNCASVILLE, CT - Matt “The Sharp Shooter” Remillard will defend his NABF and NABO featherweight titles as he returns to action at the Mohegan Sun Casino on Friday, October 29th, it was announced today by TKO Boxing Promotions.
The 24 year old Remillard will be making his third appearance this year at the Mohegan Sun Casino, having already scored two brutal knockouts to raise his undefeated record to 22-0-0 with 13 knockouts.
On January 29th, Remillard successfully defended his title with a devastating third round demolition of Rafael Lora. He followed that up on May 22nd by crushing Carlos Rivera on his way to a fourth round stoppage.
In light of his world class boxing skills and becoming New England’s most popular fighter, Remillard will also be honored the following night, Saturday, October 30th at the Connecticut Hall of Fame dinner at the Mohegan Sun Casino.
A sensational undercard will also be featured on October 29th including former world title challenger Elvin Ayala, sensational junior lightweight prospect Joseph “Chip” Perez, popular female slugger Adelita Irizarry and super middleweight Mark “The Italian Bazooka” De Luca.
