Kazimierza Wielkiego 8, Lublin, Poland - Popular Polish heavyweight veteran Marcin Rekowski (15-1, 12 KOs) continued his route into the heavyweight elite with a knockout win over former EBU champion and world title challenger Albert "Dragon" Sosnowski (48-7-2, 29 KOs) in the main event of the show in Lublin, Poland, which has been co-promoted by Babilon Promotions and Knockout Promotions. Rekowski acquired a vacant Republic of Poland heavyweight title.

Rekowski, 36, was better in the first. The second was even with both boxer swinging freely. Sosnowski, 35, delivered a good right hand to start the third but Rekowski did better at the end. The fourth was once again even. In the fifth, Rekowski started to overcome Sosnowski. He rocked him badly with a right-left combo at the end of the round. Marcin continued to do better in the sixth. In the seventh stanza, Sosnowski went in and then down after a major right hand by Rekowski. He got up but was soon stopped in the seventh round.
