The scores came in with a criminal card of 117-111 for Ramos, 115-113 for Ugas, and 115-113 for Ugas.
A feel-out round in the first, with Ugas examining his opponent with some jabs. Ugas continued to work his jabs in the second. Ramos found some success in the third, but Ugas came right back with his jab in the fourth.
They were mixing it up in the fifth, with Ugas having the edge. The face of Ramos was reddened and swelling as they fought in the sixth. Ugas continued to outbox and outland Ramos in the seventh and eight.
Ugas continued to dominate the action from round to round, until the final bell. There wasn't much coming from Ramos, who never made the right adjustments to turn the tide.
