On Sunday night in Ciudad Obregon Mexico, Orlando 'Siri' Salido and manager Sean Gibbons had what they describe as a great meal with "fantastic sonora beef tacos."

Salido has been in his hometown of Ciudad Obregon for the last month preparing for his world title showdown on June 4th, with WBC super featherweight world champion Francisco Vargas.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Vargas had tested positive for the banned substance clenbuterol. Vargas and his handlers claimed the positive reading was a direct result of contaminated beef that was eaten in Mexico City.

Salido has advised eating Vargas to eat beef from Sonora Mexico, and the former champion says "they have the best beef in Mexico."

"Orlando has been tested numerous times by VADA Voluntary [Anti-Doping Agency] and has been as clean as a new born baby," said Gibbons.

Vargas has continued to get tested by VADA and all of his tests have come up clean, according to Golden Boy Promotions Vice President Eric Gomez.

Since the positive test, Vargas has been visited four times by representatives of VADA. The results have come back for two of those testing sessions, and both of them showed no trace of clenbuterol.

When the incident took place, Golden Boy Promotions urged the California State Athletic Commission to allow Vargas to move forward with the fight. The CSAC allowed the fight to go forward, but they are watching Vargas' test results. If he comes up positive for clenbuterol on another test, the CSAC will revoke his license and prevent him from fighting.
