QUERETARO, MEXICO - Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda held on to the WBO flyweight title with a fourth round TKO at 1:29 over Filipino Arden Diale in the headline bout, promoted by Zanfer Promotions. Miranda (35-5-1, 28 KOs) made his third defense of the title, but Diale (15-6-3, 3 KOs), suprised the champion with a knockdown in the first round. "Pingo" got up and went out like a man on a mission with hard shots to the head and body in the second round, and then sent Diale down in the third and then in the fourth round to get the stoppage win.
