Junior middleweight contender Omar Chavez dominated the action and scored a tenth round knockdown on Canada's Joachim Alcine to win a ten round unanimous decision in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The scores were 98-92, 98-91 and 98-89. Alcine, 37, drops his fourth straight. Chavez picks up his third straight win as he improves to 31-2 (22KO) and Alcine falls to 33-6-1 (19KO).
Raul Hirales picked up his fourth straight win with a stoppage of Frankie Leal in eight rounds. Hirales improves to 20-2 (13KO) and Leal drops to 20-8-3 (13KO).
