Miguel "Alacran" Berchelt and Jonathan Víctor Barros offered a public training session on Wednesday, leaving a great taste in the mouths of the press and fans.
"Alacrán" Berchelt (33-1-0, 29 KO's) will be defending his WBC super featherweight world championship, against Argentine "Yoni" Barros (41-5-1, 22 KO's) this Saturday, at Poliforum Zamná de Mérida, in a spectacular card by Zanfer and Max Boxing that will be broadcast by the Casa del Boxeo, Azteca 7.
At the Salvador Alvarado Stadium, the stars of the boxing evening did mitt work and other exercises for the fans.
"I feel very motivated to defend my championship before my people. We are going to offer a great fight and I will leave everything in the ring, but the belt stays at home," Berchelt predicted.
Barros, for his part, thanked everyone for the opportunity and ensures that the promoters were wrong to choose him for an optional defense.
"The opportunity I was looking for came to me and I will not waste it. I do not come so far just to walk, I came to become a world champion. I respect Berchelt, he has given great fights, but he will not be able to deal with my style and my rhythm," said Barros.
