In a WBC super flyweight eliminator, unknown Riyo Togo (10-4, 8KOs) scored a stunner when she stopped former champion and Mexican superstar Mariana "La Barbie" Juarez (36-7, 16KOs) in the first round. The two engaged in a furious exchange which saw Juarez dropped hard from a left. She made it up but the referee waved it off after determining that she was too hurt to continue.
