At the final press conference, WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno of Panama came face to face with Saturday's opponent, Javier Chacon of Argentina. The fight takes place at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City, and the card will be presented by Promociones y Eventos del Istmo. If Moreno comes through, his next fight would be a mandatory defense against Dominican slugger Juan Carlos Payano (15-0, 8 KOs).
