At the end of the twelve rounds, the judges saw it 119-109, 117-110 and 118-109, all in favor of Trout.

Ana Maria Torres successfully defended, for the ninth time, the flyweight championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC), after knocking out Brazilian Vanessa Guimaraes in four rounds. Torres punished her opponent and finished her off with a hook to the liver in the fourth, which forced the referee to stop the fight.
