Amir Khan is on the verge of landing his high profile fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In the meantime, the British star is sparring in California with his stablemate Alfredo Angulo (22-3, 18 KOs), who also fights at the MGM Grand, on March 8, against former WBA/WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-1-1, 30 KOs). Khan is helping Angulo deal with speed and movement, which are two key factors that Canelo plans to utilize in their fight. Both Khan and Angulo are trained by Virgil Hunter.
