Lamont Peterson-Sergey Lipinets and Peter Quillin-Caleb Truax are among the fights that PBC will officially announce Tuesday at a press conference in Los Angeles.

krikya360.com has learned that the Peterson-Lipinets and Quillin-Truax fights will headline separate shows on FS1, FOX’s basic cable channel, as part of PBC’s new deal with FOX on dates to be announced.

As previously reported today by krikya360.com, the Errol Spence Jr.-Mikey Garcia FOX Pay-Per-View fight (March 16) and several FOX main events – Keith Thurman-Josesito Lopez (January 26), Leo Santa Cruz-Miguel Flores (February 16), Shawn Porter-Yordenis Ugas (March 9) and Danny Garcia-Adrian Granados (TBA in April) – also will be announced Tuesday.

Peterson and Lipinets will meet in a welterweight bout.

Peterson (35-4-1, 17 KOs), of Washington, D.C., hasn’t fought since Spence stopped him following seven one-sided rounds in their fight for Spence’s IBF welterweight title January 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Kazakhstan’s Lipinets (14-1, 10 KOs) bounced back from his loss to Mikey Garcia in his last fight. Lipinets defeated Ecuador’s Erick Bone (21-6, 9 KOs) by majority decision in that 10-rounder, a fight Lipinets clearly won, despite that one of the judges scored it even (99-91, 98-92, 95-95) on August 4 in Uniondale, New York.

Lipinets lost his IBF junior welterweight title to Garcia in his previous fight. Garcia (39-0, 30 KOs), of Oxnard, California, dropped Lipinets in the seventh round and won a 12-round unanimous decision March 10 at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio.

Quillin and Truax are set to square off in a super middleweight match.

Brooklyn’s Quillin (34-1-1, 23 KOs), a former WBO middleweight champ, will attempt to extend his winning streak to three fights versus Truax. He defeated J’Leon Love (24-2-1, 13 KOs, 1 NC) by unanimous decision in a dull 10-rounder, also August 4 in Uniondale.

Truax (30-4-2, 19 KOs) lost the IBF super middleweight title back to James DeGale earlier this year. DeGale defeated Truax by unanimous decision in that immediate, 12-round rematch April 9 in Las Vegas.

The Osseo, Minnesota, native scored one of the biggest upsets of 2017 in his previous fight, when he out-pointed England’s DeGale (25-2-1, 15 KOs) by majority decision December 9 in London.
