On Tuesday, krikya360.com broke the story that a clash between IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud (24-0, 19KOs), and former champion Jean Pascal (26-2-1, 16KOs), was in the works.  Shortly thereafter, BoxingScene's Jake Donovan wrote an article in which Cloud's manager and trainer Al Bonnani said that his fighter had agreed to the fight and they were just waiting to see if Pascal would agree to terms.

Pascal's advisor, Greg Leon, has informed BoxingScene that his client has agreed to face Cloud and that they were just waiting on a date.

"Pascal is fully on board. All we need is the exact date from Showtime. Both sides have already verbally agreed to terms," said Leon.

A venue hasn't been solidified yet but Leon said that the fight will most likely land on a June or July date in either Montreal or Quebec City, where the Canada-based Pascal has fought most of his career and draws massive crowds.
