krikya360.com has received a copy of document outlining Manny Pacquiao's blood test; taken for his May 2 fight with Ricky Hatton. The blood test was taken by Dr. Richard Gluckman and sent to Quest Diagnostics on April 8, 2009, which is 24-days before the fight with Hatton. The latest discovery punches holes in some of the stories that claim Pacquiao took a blood test "14-days" before the Hatton fight. The footage of the blood test [Pacquiao/Hatton 24/7] may have aired 14-days before the fight, but actual test was taken on April 8.
The 24/7 footage was being used as angle for Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions to reach an agreement on the dispute over random blood tests for Pacquiao's bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on March 13.
Mayweather wants a contract clause for both of them to take random blood tests for possible use of performance enhancing drugs or other illegal substances. Pacquiao is willing to take the tests, but not within 30-days of the fight. Mayweather and Golden Boy are standing firm on the position of demanding random tests within the 30-day window.
