European heavyweight champion Oleksandr Zakhozhyi will now defend the title against Germany-based Kosovan Labinot Xhoxhaj on November 23 in Heidelberg, Germany, after Swiss veteran Arnold Grergjaj pulled out with an injury.

The 19-0 (15 KOs) Zakhozyi, from Ukraine but based in Germany, won the title in April when he knocked out an overmatched Granit Shala in two rounds. 

Xhoxhaj, 19-0-1 (16 KOs), is 31 years old, the same as Zakhozhyi.

South African junior welterweight Gava Bholo may have set a modern day record when he was floored eight times but still went the distance in a fight against Russian Maxim Pleshkov November 16 in Chelyabinsk (Russia).

Bholo lasted the distance - eight rounds - but lost on scores of 80-64 on the judges' scorecards.. He was floored in the second, third, fourth, twice in the fifth, once in the seventh and twice in the eighth. 

Two-time Nordic and Swedish heavyweight champion Genti Morina makes his professional debut on Danish Fight Night November 9 in Copenhagen. Morina is the son of former pro Luan Morina and is trained by Hisham Zaben, who runs Boxing Pick on YouTube along with Stephen "Breadman" Edwards.

Opponent for Morina is yet to be announced.

The show is headlined by featherweight Sarah Mahfoud, 14-2 (3 KOs) who takes on Brazilian Danila Ramos, 13-3 (1 KO), in a WBO international title fight.

European ‘silver’ super middleweight belt-holder Gustave Tamba, 20-1 (14 KOs), could be forced to go over old ground against Spaniard Jose Luis Navarro, 13-2 (9 KOs), after the EBU ordered a rematch.

Tamba stopped Navarro in two rounds 12 months ago in what was his first defense of the title. Navarro injured his foot during the fight but was also outpunched by Tamba, who looks ready for bigger fights. Deadline for purse bids is December 3.

In more EBU title action, featherweight champion Cristobal Lorente, 19-0-1 (8 KOs), from Spain makes a voluntary defense of the title against Francesco Grandelli, 18-3-2 (4 KOs), December 13 in Carbonia (Italy) on an Opi since 82 and Top Rank promotion streamed by DAZN.

The winner 'inherits’ Nathaniel Collins, who beat Grandelli  last time out, as mandatory challenger.
