MMA fighters Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal both met weight requirements Friday for their 10-round light heavyweight professional boxing match set for Saturday at Anaheim’s Honda Center.

Diaz, 39, who has a boxing record of 0-1, weighed in at 175.6 pounds – nearly 10 pounds lighter than in his previous fight, against Jake Paul last August. Masvidal, also 39, has a 1-0 record in boxing and came in at 175.2 pounds for Friday’s weigh-in.

However, clarity about weights across the undercard was lacking, as several fighters appeared to exceed their contracted weight limits without explanation.

In the co-feature, former middleweight titleholder Daniel Jacobs (37-4, 30 KOs), 37, missed the super middleweight limit by coming in at 169.2 pounds, just over a pound above the contracted weight. His opponent, Shane Mosley Jr. (21-4, 12 KOs), 33, weighed in at 167.6 pounds for their 10-round super middleweight contest.

The weigh-in’s most notable discrepancy involved Sean Garcia (7-0-1, 2 KOs), 23, brother of Ryan Garcia. Sean appeared to weigh in at three pounds over the lightweight limit, but this was not acknowledged during the broadcast. His opponent, Amado Vargas (10-0, 4 KOs), 23, weighed in under the lightweight limit at 134.1 pounds.
