MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada - Junior welterweight prospect Sanjarbek Rakhmanov (2-0, 1KO) won a six round unanimous decision over Farkhad Sharipov (4-5). All three judges had it 60-53. Sharipov was hurt several times in the fight, but managed to stay on his feet with some questionable survival skills of holding, and more holding.

Junior middleweight prospect Chris Pearson (13-0, 10KOs) had some rocky moments, but he overcame them in an entertaining slugfest to stop Janks Trotter (9-2-1, 9KOs) in the seventh round. Pearson finally dropped Pearson in the seventh, after landing quite a few punches during the sixth. At the end of the round he was reeling and stumbling around, which prompted referee Robert Byrd to call the fight at 2:59.

Lightweight prospect Gervonta 'Tank' Davis (12-0, 11KOs) demolished Recky Dulay (8-2, 5KOs) in the first round. Dulay went down twice in the first and signaled to referee Russell Mora that he didn't want to continue and the fight was stopped at 1:34.

Super middleweight Ronald Gavril (14-1, 10KOs) continues to rebuild his career with an eight round stoppage of Scott Sigmon (25-8-1). Gavril dished out a beating, round after round, until referee Jay Nady (on the advise of the ringside doctor) stopped the fight at the end of the eight round. Gavril now wins three in a row since suffering an upset decision loss to Elvin Ayala in March.

Welterweight contender Ashley Theophane (39-6-1, 11KOs) won a wide ten round unanimous decision over Steve Chambers (25-5-1). The scores were 100-90, 98-92 and 97-93. Theophane dominated most of the action. Chambers had some moments, but he allowed Theophane to outwork him.

It should be noted that Chambers was beaten by Andre Berto, also by decision, in what was Berto's first fight of his post-surgery comeback last fall.

Super lightweight prospect Trakwon Pettis (1-0, 1K) made his pro debut with a first round TKO at 2:24 over Devante Seay (0-1).
