On March 30th at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Mariusz Wach (26-0, 14 KO), known as the "Polish Giant" at 6'7, will take on a fighter who is even bigger, Tye Fields (49-4, 44 KO), who stands at 6'8. As previously reported, ESPN will televise the bout as part of their Friday Night Fights series. Wach is familar with Fields. The two of them were working with Samuel Peter in 2010, when the Nigerian boxer was preparing for his rematch with unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Wach doesn't have a high regard for Fields' chin and plans to test his resolve after the early rounds, where the Polish boxer considers Fields to be at his most dangerous.

"There is no wool in my hands, only hammers. And when they land, the impact is hard. Fields is a great guy. He is taller and heavier than me, a left-hander. You have to be fully focused from the beginning [of the fight]. We were once together in [camp] with Peter. I watched him fight. I know all about Fields. He has a soft jaw. [Fields] is dangerous in the early rounds, but what happens after that? From the fourth round, I will dominate," Wach said.
