Bouncing back from his December loss to Victor Ortiz, junior welterweight contender Manuel Perez (23-11-1, 5KOs) used a relentless body attack to force former champion DeMarcus Corley (42-23-1, 25KOs) to wave the white flag after the sixth. Perez dominated the fight to that point and it seemed just a matter of time before Perez would stop him outright. The loss snapped a two fight win streak for the 40-year-old Corley.
Donald Cobb stopped Deane Williams in the first round.
Brittany Cruz was impressive in stopping Sheena Chaney in the second.
Mario Quezada debuted with a win over Antonio Solarzano.
