The bad blood won’t last any longer between them. Marcos Maidana and Amir Khan are close to shaking hands after a long war of words as Amir has finally admitted that he does not want any piece of Maidana again. After that confession and the fact that Khan has lately been advising who Maidana should face next, Maidana and his team are offering Khan the position of being their new advisor.

“I’m happy that finally Khan stopped all the lies and excuses. Today he admitted that he just does not want to face me again. I would have liked it better if he would have explained why he won't. but I guess we all know the answer,” Maidana commented.

“In the last few weeks Khan has been telling me whom I should fight so I got together with my team and thought that we should offer him a job as my new advisor. Since he is not going to fight me, I like the idea of having Khan working for me. He could make some extra bucks without even risking his face,” Maidana added.

“I agree with Marcos. Khan is the right person to guide Maidana’s boxing career as he really knows how to get real great opponents like Bradley, Alexander or Maidana himself,” Maidana’s current advisor Sebastián Contursi said.
