NEW YORK – Terence Crawford clearly hurt Hank Lundy pretty badly on Saturday night.

According to Lundy, though, Crawford wasn’t the opponent that him hardest during his 33-fight, 10-year career. That distinction belongs to John Molina, who stopped Lundy in the 11th round of their July 10 fight in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

“I’m gonna keep it real,” Lundy said following his fifth-round technical knockout loss to Crawford in The Theater at Madison Square Garden. “I’ve been hit harder. The hardest person I’ve been hit by is John Molina.”

Crawford (28-0, 20 KOs) initially hurt Lundy (26-6-1, 13 KOs) with a left hand a little before the midway mark of the fifth round. He dropped him with another left later in the fifth.

Lundy reached his feet, but Crawford immediately attacked him and landed several more power punches. Referee Steve Willis stopped their fight at 2:09 of the fifth round because Lundy wasn’t defending himself.

Molina knocked down Lundy with a crushing right hand in the eighth round of their fight. He stopped Lundy in the 11th round with a barrage of punches, as Lundy slumped on the ropes.
