Fast rising British talent Liam Walsh will defend his Commonwealth Super-Featherweight title against Paul Appleby when he tops the York Hall, Bethnal Green on Friday 30th September.
The show marks the promotional debut of Frank Warren's sons Francis and George under their new banner Queensberry Promotions.
"It's fantastic to be promoting Championship boxing in our first independant show, and I'm delighted to be able to put the show on at the York Hall," said Francis Warren.
"Liam is a fantastic talent and faces a tough challenge in Paul Appleby, who will be looking to bounce back in style this year,"
"The undercard features some of our new signings who we have high hopes for over the next 12 months."
Cromer star Walsh, 25, is looking to make a big statement against former British champion Appleby who himself is aiming to get back into the 130lb mix.
Since turning professional in 2008 Walsh has impressed with his exciting all-action style and has racked up a perfect 11-0 record with eight stoppages.
Along with twin brother Ryan (featherweight) and older brother Michael (super-bantamweight) they are the only trio of siblings in world boxing with unbeaten records.
Walsh said, "I'm really looking forward to facing Appleby who is without a doubt the biggest test of my career to date and will bring the best out in me,"
"He's a good quality fighter and I'm expecting that he's vastly improved under new trainer Billy Nelson and being in the gym training alongside Ricky Burns,"
"He's going to want to take that 0 off my record, but I'm not going to give him the chance,"
"I'm raring to go in my first fight of the new season and I really want to put on a good show at the York Hall for my loyal fans who follow me and my brothers all around the country,"
"It's a fight I've got to win and win in style if I'm going to progress on to the big fights against the likes of Burns,"
"I'm not looking past Appleby, but in the long run Burns is the champion I'm after and that would be a great fight down the line."
Appleby, 24, who is now being trained by Billy Nelson, the trainer of WBO World Super-Featherweight Champion Ricky Burns, views this as a major opportunity to get back into the big time.
"I'm coming down to England to win and take the title from Walsh," Said Appleby.
"This is my chance to get back into the limelight with a win over a good champion and get my career back on track,"
"I've knuckled down with Billy in the gym and he's getting the best out of me as we prepare for the fight,"
"There is no way I'm leaving the ring without that belt around my waist."
Chief support on the card see Steve O'Meara take on newly crowned Southern Area Light-Middleweight Champion Ryan Toms.
A top quality undercard also features London based Irishman Peter McDonagh, West Ham's Billy Morgan, Romford's Tony Conquest, Bushey Heath's Liam Shinkwin and the pro-debut of Ediz Hussein.
Tickets are priced at £40 and £60 and are available from Frank Warren Promotions Box Office on 01992 550 888 or online at
