Krylia Sovetov, Moscow, Russia - #5 rated light middleweight Khusein Baysangurov (12-0, 10 KOs), 23, displayed his frenetic power once again by becoming the first ever to stop rugged German Nick Klappert (24-3, 15 KOs). The Chechen prodigy got this feat accomplished in the very first round.

After a few mid-ring encounters, Baysangurov landed a huge right hand to the spleen section near the ropes, forcing Klappert to crouch in pain. He followed it up with a couple of left hands over the head, as Klappert turned his back on Khusein. Referee Leszek Jankowiak was there to almost immediately wave it off. Time was 2:39 of the openng round. Baysangurov added Klappert's IBF International 154lb title to already owned WBA International belt.

Middleweight Khasan Baysangurov improved his record to 15-0, 7 KOs, with an easy stoppage of Georgian import Lasha Gurguliani (15-5, 7 KOs) in round five. The fight was all Khasan's as he kept the Georgian at bay, peppering him with the jab, adding hard shots when needed. Gurguliani went down in round four after a major left hook to the liver.

In the fifth, Gurguliani was hurt again with body punches early on to turn his back on Baysangurov. Referee Yuri Koptsev let it continue but soon Khasan dropped Gurguliani with a body shot again.

The Georgian got up but was too hurt to go on. Time of stoppage was 1:38. On a side note: Gurgulian previously lost to Khussein Baysangurov, also via the fifth-round kayo, in October 2016.

Fighting for the second time in Moscow, Ramil Gadzhiev (6-1-1, 3 KOs) sustained hard pressure and will of German import Aro Schwartz (15-4, 11 KOs) to overcome his for with subtle moves and superior skills over ten rounds. Gadzhiev acquired a vacant WBC Youth super middleweight title in process. Scores were unanimous: 100-90, 99-91, 98-92 - in his favour.

Tanzanian Hassan Mwakinyo (10-2, 7 KOs) showed strong conditioning, overall strength and also limited skills in a ten-round unanimous decision loss to Russia-based Armenian Lendrush Akopyan (9-0, 4 KOs). Akopyan dropped Mwakinyo with a left in round four - but it was more a push than a punch. Final scores were: 100-89, 100-89, and 99-90 - for Akopyan, who acquired a vacant WBC Youth light middleweight title.

It was two seconds left in round four, when Roman Zinchenko's corner threw in a towel for an abrupt end of his fight versus undefeated Shamil Galaev (5-0-1, 2 KOs). Zinchenko (3-2, 1 KO) of Ukraine started the fight confidently and gave fits to Galaev before being overwhelmed by Galaev's power and prowess.

In a battle of journeymen, Ukrainian super middleweight Ruslan Schelev (14-8-1, 8 KOs) stopped Belarussian Vladimir Sazonov (4-13-1, 2 KOs) at 1:42 of the fourth round. Sazonov list his third consecurive fight via kayo in 2017, which followed six years off the ring. He is 0-13-1, since going 4-0 at the beginning of his career, his latest win dating back to 2005.

17-year old Chechen fighter Umar Tsomaev (2-0) got his second career win with a unanimous decision over willing but limited Russian Alexet Fetisov (0-2).
