Former WBA junior welterweight world champion Khabib Allakhverdiev (19-2, 9KOs) feels very badly about the way his training camp played out for the October 3rd bout in Cincinnati against former three division world champion Adrien Broner.

The boxer says there were visa issues which prevented him from holding a proper training camp in the United States with coach John David Jackson. He was stuck in Russian with mediocre training and one sparring partner.

After more than a year layoff, he dominated and stopped in the twelfth round.

"I will continue to box, I only need to do it more professionally," Khabib said. "I think I need to secure a visa and go to America to live and train."

"Now I have already started training at home. Every thing is well with my health and I'm in an excellent mood. Of course, the main goal - to return to the title picture."

"I badly prepared for such a serious opponent. These fights you have to train under the supervision of serious professionals, with good sparring partners. I had little sparring and there was only one sparring partner. For the United States, I wanted to leave at least 25 days before the fight, but the visa was only good for a week. Training was disgusting, but I had to fight with dignity."
