The Pearl, Palms Casino, Las Vegas - Junior middleweight prospect Thomas Hill (3-0, 1KO) blew away Jeremiah Page (2-2, 2KOs) in one round.

In his first fight since suffering the knockout loss to Rogelio Medina last August, super middleweight contender J'Leon Love (19-1, 10KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Scott Sigmon (24-7-1, 13KOs). The scores were 80-72, 80-72, 79-73.

After some rough moments in the first round, Love let his hands go in the second and started doing damage. Love looked a bit more muscular but still pretty quick on his toes with Sigmon. He used the jab and fast counters on the incoming Sigmon, who pushed forward and tried to land something big.

Sigmon found success in the sixth round, where he landed several good punches and caused a decent cut to open up above Love's right eye. Love continued to box, move and outhustle Sigmon.

In a stay busy fight, undefeated junior middleweight contender Jermall Charlo (21-0, 16KOs) beat down Michael Finney (12-3-1, 10KOs), who at one time was rising prospect under Top Rank. Finney has now been winless since June 2013. Finney came close to being stopped at times, but lasted the ten round distance. All three judges saw it 100-90.

Finney was aggressive from the opening bell and got clocked in the first minute coming in. Charlo established his jab early and started using it as a range finder. Finney landed a few good body shots, but not much else. He took a beating, round after round, and his face was an absolute mess by the ninth.

In yet another upset, Elvin Ayala (28-6-1, 12KOs) showed off his boxing ability and at times had to fight fire with fire, winning an eight round unanimous decision over previously undefeated super middleweight prospect Ronald Gavril (11-1, 9KOs), who is promoted by Mayweather Promotions. The scores were 78-74, 78-74 and 77-75.

Levan Ghvamichava (14-1-1, 11KOs), now trained by Virgil Hunter, battered Sergio Villanueva (27-7-2, 14KOs) for four one-sided rounds. Villanueva's corner stopped the fight at the end of four.

In an eight round featherweight contest, Cesar Juarez (16-3, 13KOs) opened up the show with an upset eight round majority decision victory over Cesar Seda (26-3, 17KOs). The scores were 76-74, 76-74 and 75-75

Juarez was very aggressive in the first round. He came out throwing big punches and it didn't take that long before he caught and dropped Seda. He then unloaded a lot of punches on Seda and for a moment it appeared as if referee Russell Mora was going to step in to wave things off, but he allowed the action to continue. Seda recovered by the start of the second round and started trading bombs with Juarez at close range.

The fight continued to be a two-way brawl for the rest of the way. Seda was once again hurt in the seventh round and fired back to get out of trouble. Seda got buzzed in the eight and landed a bad low blow as Juarez jumped on him. Mora deducted a point for the low blow. They continued to brawl until the final bell.
