Jim ‘Smitty’ Smith and Poor Boys Pro Boxing have a private show set for Friday night at the plush Four Seasons in downtown Denver. There were less than 200 tickets sold to this show, it’s exclusive.

In the main event we will see the rematch between heavyweights Hugo Arceo, 5-2-2, 2KOs, and Terrance Perro, 2-2-1, 2KOs as they fought to a split draw just last month on another Poor Boys private show. Arceo was not pleased with the decision nor his performance and has vowed to do what it takes to get the W this time around.

Undefeated prospect Marquis Moore, 3-0, 3KOs, will take on Dennis Williams, 3-9-1, 1KO, in a four rounder at super middleweight. Moore had an outstanding amateur career and he brings pedigree to the ring. Williams is tough and all of his losses came to fighters with a winning record. He is coming in on the heels of a win. ‘Smitty’ has said he believes this fight will be much better than it looks on paper.

The undercard has a great female bout between Alma Garcia, 1-4 and new to Denver, Tania Cosme, 5-5-1, 1KO. Cosme is training with Steve Mestas and Tomas Gallegos at the House of Pain gym. Garcia is coming to the fight having won her last bout. Cosme has a wealth of experience having fought Irma Sanchez, 25-6-1 and Ibeth Silva 13-3. This will be a four rounder at bantamweight.

‘Fire Cracka’ Isaac Johnson, 2-5, will take on Martin Quezada, 4-9, 3KOs, in a four rounder at lightweight. Johnson won the first two fights of his career but is now riding a 5 fight losing streak that must end. Quezada was last seen last year losing by knockout to David Escamilla. This one is a 50-50 fight and should produce some great action.

Adan ‘Donster’ Gonzales, 1-1, 1KO, will get his chance to fight as Mexico’s Jose Emmanuel Rangel, 2-3, 1KO, will not be pulling out of their fight. Gonzales is 1-1 with his loss coming to Raheem Abdullah by majority decision. He has also fought some great exhibition bouts, including one against Mario Quezada. Gonzales last fought on the Dawg Fights I card back in June stopping Tomas Nolasco and was scheduled to fight Mario Sierra on the SCL vs Airtight card but Sierra got ‘cold feet’ and the fight didn’t happen, although it is scheduled for the next SCL show December 10th.

No tickets are available to the public for this fight card.
