Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey - With both fighters making their American debut, undefeated Polish standout Krysztof Glowacki (25-0, 16 KOs) pulled off one of the bigger stunners of 2015 with a spectacular eleven round knockout of longtime WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (38-3-1, 26 KOs). He ended Huck's six year championship streak and also prevented Huck from breaking the cruiserweight title defense record of 13.

Glowacki started fast, pushing the action and keeping Huck on the defensive. He threw a right hook in the closing seconds to stun Huck for a moment in the first.  Glowacki was throwing a hard jab to the body and then landing big punches upstairs.

Huck tried to rally late in the second, but Glowacki came roaring back in the third with combinations landing and pushing Huck back. The two were brawling at the bell as the third finished up and the referee was forced to jump in and separate them.

Glowacki continued to push the fight and was outworking the champion with a higher volume of punches thrown. Huck was starting to let his hands go in the fifth, throwing hard combinations to slow Glowacki down.

At the start of the sixth, a huge hook sent Glowacki down on his back. He barely made it up, but once he did he started swinging for the fences to fight Huck toe to toe as the champion looked to finish him off. They brawling with hard punches. Glowacki was able to get out of trouble by backing Huck off and started landing punches of his own.

Glowacki was back in form during the seventh. He was throwing with both hands and managed to get himself back in the fight. The champion came back in the eight, with a big rally of punches in the final minute. Huck also seemed to edge the ninth with a better variety of landed shots. A clash of heads opened up a cut above the right eye of Glowacki.

Huck continued his late surge with a strong tenth, throwing a lot of combinations.

During the eleventh, Glowacki landed a huge combination of punches to drop Huck hard. Huck barely made it up and seemed very hurt. Glowacki jumpe don him, let his hands go and blasted Huck out as the referee jumped in to save him.
